Mental illnesses –

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • eating disorders
  • schizophrenia
  • OCD
  • and many more

Well, why are these so important to me and why should I care?

Mental disorders are a very stigmatized subject. No one wants to upset or offend anyone by talking about the disorders. This however is leading to mislead information and is making those with the disorders feel odd and alone in the every day battle that they face to overcome their illness. I purposefully listed the five above, because they have been found to be the most commonly diagnosed and well known. They have been portrayed in movies, tv shows and even cartoons as well.
